Changing Places brings together three of my works dealing with change and moving, Linz-Sheffield, Rhythms of a Train Station and Thoughts to Pick.

Linz-Sheffield makes biographical reference to the recent change in domiciles from Austria to England. It consists of a slide projection of road signs, photographed out of a car on my journey from Linz/Austria to Sheffield/UK. The slides can be viewed from two car seats placed in front of the projection. Next to it is an abstracted wall drawing of part of Europe marking the journey form Linz to Sheffield.

The video Rhythms of a Train Station shows the rhythm of the flow of train passengers coming and going to their platform, controlled by the arrival and departure of the trains.

On a cord Thoughts to Pick invites the viewer to pick written down thoughts about changing places and moving.
